Dr. Mariyamma (Helen) Lazar is a healthcare professional with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, India, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Services Management from the University of Cincinnati, USA. She brings a strong foundation in clinical practice, public health research, and healthcare data analytics, developed through international training and hands-on experience in global health programs.

Dr. Lazar has contributed to initiatives addressing HIV/AIDS prevention, mental health education, and community health systems, where she managed data quality processes, coordinated research teams, and supported evidence-based program design. Her technical proficiency includes statistical analysis, epidemiologic data management, and digital health platforms such as R, REDCap, and Qualtrics.

Her connection to King Fahad Hospital runs deep; her father served as a dedicated member of the hospital staff until his retirement in 2013.
